Register for the Dill Beans and Pickles Workshop on Saturday August 9th @ 1 PM

Each participant will make and eventually take home a 500ml jar of beans and 1L jar of pickles.

Any of our workshops that involve water bath canning include a required 24-hour holding period for your canned goods. This method relies on jars resting undisturbed to ensure they’ve sealed correctly—a key step in preventing spoilage and ensuring safe, long-term preservation.

For this reason, all jars will remain at Grey Roots for 24 hours following the workshop. This applies to sessions featuring:

  • Bread and Butter Pickles
  • Dill Beans & Pickles
  • Peach Salsa

We’ll make sure you’re informed about pickup times for each session so your creations are ready for you—sealed and safe!

Participants will learn and be involved in all steps of the process. The workshop includes all ingredients, small group instruction, and good conversation with like minded foodies.
